Parkersburg High School Womens Big Red Crew competed against Parkersburg South Women Patriot Crew at the Mountaineer Challenge Cup held Saturday March 31, 2007 at the Ohio Valley Rowing Club. Parkersburg Womens Big Red Crew swept the competition in every category. Below are the results:

Womens Novice Eight: Cox Emily Metz, Stroke Kacie Offenberger, Alcina Pearce, Melanie Lemon, Savannah Ruble, Sarah Roberts, Amy Mackey, Keseniya Burmeyster, Chelsie Allen with a time of 5.06

Womens Open Four: Boat B Cox MaryKate Earley, Stroke Chelsi McCarty, Chelsey Fiore, Kim Toth, Jessica Samuels with a time of 5.23.8

Womens Open Four: Boat A Cox Kelly Kramer, Stroke Shelly Peterson, Emily McDonald, Samantha Spitsnaugle, Hannah Nelson with a time of 5.23.3

This is evidence of all the hard work and teamwork these girls have been doing for months now and it shows. As a head coach I couldn't be prouder.
