Coaches

SUSIE FULTON, Susie has been the PHS Women's Head Coach since 2006, she has been involved with crew since 1998. She served as assistant women's coach with PHS for 2 years. She was also an assistant men's coach for PSHS for one year. She has coached Ohio Valley Rowing Club's Summer and Fall Rowing for several seasons. At this time she has her Level 2 Coaching Certification through US Rowing. She is currently employed as a nurse for an area Physicians Office. When Susie is not with crew she spends time with family and rows recreationally. She and Bub have two daughters who rowed for Parkersburg South. Susie can be reached at 304 481-6649.

BUB FULTON, Bub is the PHS Men's Head Coach, and has been married to Susie for 25 years. He has also coached fall crew for the past 3 seasons at OVRC. At this time he has his Level 2 Coaching Certification through US Rowing. He works for Alleghany Power. He has helped coordinate the Brundage Regatta with PHS, South and OVRC. Bub is serving as the Assistant Fire Chief at Blennerhassett Fire Dept. Bub can be reached at 304 481-6641.

ANDY BYERS Andy was the first in a family of Big Red Rowers. He is in his first season as an assistant coach for the PHS Women's Crew Team. He Rowed Four seasons at PHS (2000 - 2003) and also rowed at Marietta College. In his senior year Andy and the Big Red Four Man Lightweight rowed at Nationals.

GLENN STARCHER Glenn is in his first season as an assistant coach for the PHS Men's Crew Team. He rowed three seasons (1997 - 1999) at Parkersburg South, where he competed in the Jayvee 4 race at Nationals in 1998. He also rowed in the Varsity 4's and Varsity 8's as a Patriot rower. During his competitive rowing years Glenn attended the Summer Rowing Camp at Marietta College. He graduated college in 2003 from Washington State University, with Degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
